Dominic Milton Trott, the author of The Drug Users Bible spent 10 years testing countless drugs from psychedelics to benzodiazepines to opioids to botanicals and more! For each he made a record of the relevant considerations for harm reduction, and described his own subjective experience of the drug. The book has been subject to excessive censorship, being banned on most social media sites. Despite this attempt at censorship the book has remained the most popular of its genre.
Q: Just what is the Drug Users Bible?
A: Amazon probably describes it as well as anyone:
Over a 12 year period the author of this book self-administered over 180 psychoactive substances; both chemicals and plants. For each he recorded the life-sensitive safety data, including the anticipated onset times, the common threshold doses, the routes of administration, and the expected duration of the experience. In addition, for every compound he also produced a trip report, detailing the qualitative experience itself. This delivered another invaluable insight, enabling, for example, an objective assessment of the extent of any loss of judgement and self-control.
This is a substantial body of work, embracing a wealth of direct support material, including addiction/overdose advice, relative harm tables, and legal briefings. Its contents also extend to cover aspects such as drug tourism, psychedelic exploration and drug related culture. It is crammed with detailed reference data, and even includes its own drug dictionary.
Q: When did you start writing the bible?
A: I started around 2007-2008. Once I got into it, it consumed my life for a decade.
Q: What is Harm Reduction and why should users care?
Harm reduction is about avoiding tragedy and death. It is about personal welfare, staying safe and reducing risk. One aspect of this is being aware, being informed and being equipped with the information needed to take sensible decisions regarding the use of your drug of choice.
Q: What is your opinion of drug laws in the world today and do you think they should be changed? Will the war on drugs ever end?
The war on drugs is a barbaric enterprise which has little or nothing to do with public safety. It represents oppression, control and persecution. This was always the case and there is an immense body of evidence to support this view.
Will it end? Well, at present, the situation looks bleak, but that is no excuse for lying down and accepting it. As a community we should be exposing it and fighting against it, hence the material in the last section of the book.
Q: Do you think there is a lot of ignorance in the mainstream media about people who take drugs recreationally or to self medicate?
There is a great deal of ignorance, but also, the mainstream media is well aware of the above. Unfortunately, honest journalists are few and far between. They simply regurgitate the propaganda and narrative of the usually right-wing media owners. Never trust them and never believe what they produce without independently verifiable facts.
Q: Do you see Cannabis becoming accepted internationally at some point?
Cannabis has its foot in the door, but it remains an up hill battle. The drug war battalions will fight its progression every step of the way. We have to do the same. It’s possible that it will become globally accepted, but it will be a long and difficult battle.

Q: For psychedelics what would be your top pick?
I really enjoyed san pedro, changa and ayahuasca, but my pick would be LSD and its variants, largely because it is so measurable (dosage/effects} and easy to manage.

Q: Would there be any drug you regret trying?
In the long run no: because the bad ones in particular enabled me to add so much value to the book. At the time, I regretted quite a few.
The deliriants (nutmeg, datura) were truly awful and I would sincerely urge anyone contemplating them to think again. They are absolutely not worth it, and the ride itself is almost invariably terrible.

I also had disasters with a couple of synthetic cannabinoids (e.g. 5F-AKB-48) which produced intense paranoia and trauma, pregabalin (I overdosed) and of course salvia, amongst others.
Q: What is Chemsex and what is the best and worst substances for a good time?
Chemsex is the use of drugs to intensify and/or prolong a sexual experience, be it with another person or simply via porn.
Different drugs can achieve this in different ways. For example some drugs (e.g. small dose psychedelics, or MDMA) can enhance physical sensitivity and emotional bonding, whilst others (e.g. meth, 4-MMC) can drive pure animalistic orgasmic pleasure.
There are some really serious risks though, which MUST be taken on board, and which I detail in the first section of the book.
Q: I see you tried to grow a San Pedro Cactus what went wrong?
The active molecule is mescaline and it has a very long history of recreational use. I had such a positive experience that I decided to grow some myself. It didn’t last long. As with most of the plants at home I managed to kill them; apparently with too much water. They are legal to grow here, so one day I may try again.

Q: Where can interested readers find the bible?
It’s on Amazon and the major retailers, but the main delivery is PDF, and it is entirely free. You can find it on Dread, or on most major markets and directories, or via the book’s own website on this page: www.drugusersbible.com/2018/01/pdf.html
Q: Anything you would like to say to our readers before we close?
Yes indeed. No-one else is responsible for your welfare and life: you have to take charge of this. Please do so, not just for yourself, but for friends and family. I hope my book can help you. Please do stay safe. Never take short cuts and never be complacent.
Editors note: I would highly recommend drug users read this as it has been compiled over a very long time and provides helpful information on a wide range of drugs and harm reduction advice that is not readily available on most of the internet with it being blacklisted and banned by many social media sites.
